English Intercultural Experience 2022

June was stablished by the Junior High English Academy as the month of the “English Intercultural Experience 2022”.

Students had the opportunity to learn more about countries around the world. Cultural, traditional, and historical aspects that we might not know about places where English is
spoken, not necessarily as an official language.

Students were very enthusiastic to prepare visuals designed with their classmates including information about touristic places, typical food, famous people, and some extra quality information. Teachers assisted them in the preparation of the presentations, so students would have the chance to show excellent knowledge of the content, avoiding hesitation in the use of
language.

This exercise proves that culture and knowledge can be coordinated to be applied in the educational process and directly in the acquisition of a second language.
